Porta Potty Rental & Portable Toilet Rental

Victory Portable Restrooms rents standard and construction porta potties, ADA-accessible units and hand-wash stations from our yard at 26245 Monroe Ave in Murrieta. We deliver across the Temecula Valley and western and central Riverside County. Construction units start at $189 per 28 days with weekly service included, and event rentals start at $189 per unit, plus a delivery and pickup fee.

This page covers what you can rent, how a rental works from the first call to pickup, what the weekly service includes, what it costs and every city we deliver to.

Local, not a broker. Many of the top search results for porta potty rental in the Temecula Valley are national brokers that take your order and hand it to another company. We are not a broker. We own our portable toilets and our trucks, we service them ourselves from our yard at 26245 Monroe Ave in Murrieta, and we answer our own phone.

What kinds of portable toilets can I rent?

We stock four things. Each has its own page with uses and questions.

Unit What it is Typical renter
Standard portable toilet A single-user unit with a holding tank, rented for events, parties and home projects Party hosts, event organizers, homeowners
Construction portable toilet A single-user unit with a holding tank, rented for job sites with weekly service Contractors, builders, trades
ADA-accessible unit A larger unit with a ground-level entry, grab bars and room to turn a wheelchair Public events, accessible sites, families
Hand-wash station A free-standing sink with fresh water, soap and paper towels Job sites, food events, any group of toilets

Our portable toilets do not have hand sanitizer dispensers, so we recommend a hand-wash station with every order.

Two more items are arranged through our partners and can go on the same quote:

How does renting a porta potty work, step by step?

  1. Contact us. Call (951) 517-3600 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. any day of the week, or send the quote form.
  2. Tell us about the job. We need the delivery address, the dates, and either the peak crew size or the expected guest count and hours. If a permit application is involved, tell us which city or county.
  3. Get the count and the price. We suggest how many toilets, accessible units and hand-wash stations fit the job and give you the full price: units, service and a delivery and pickup fee.
  4. Pick the spot. Each unit needs firm, level ground that our service truck can reach. The unit needs to sit within about 30 feet of where our service truck can park. Tell us about gates, slopes, soft ground or low branches before delivery day.
  5. Delivery. We offer same-day and next-day delivery. Every day is different. The earlier you call, the better the chance of same-day delivery. The driver places the unit, checks that it is level and stocked, and leaves it ready to use.
  6. Service. On 28-day rentals we return once a week to pump, clean and restock toilet paper. For multi-day events we schedule service between event days.
  7. Changes. Add units when the crew grows, drop them when it shrinks, or ask us to move a unit when the site layout changes. We can move a unit when we are on site for your regular service. If you need it moved sooner and we have to make a special trip, a relocation fee applies, and the amount depends on the location.
  8. Pickup. Call when the job ends, or we collect on the date agreed for your event. Give us two business days' notice for pickup when you can.

If something goes wrong at night, such as a unit knocked over or overflowing, the same phone number is answered 24 hours a day for emergencies.

What does weekly service include?

Every unit on a 28-day rental is serviced once a week at no extra charge. On each visit the driver:

  1. Pumps out the holding tank.
  2. Washes and sanitizes the inside of the unit.
  3. Recharges the tank with fresh water and deodorizer.
  4. Restocks toilet paper.
  5. Refills water and soap, and restocks paper towels, in any hand-wash station.

Extra visits are available. Sites with large crews, summer heat or long shifts often move to twice a week. Extra visits are quoted when you call.

Service runs on a set route, which is how we keep pricing competitive. You can request a specific service day. If your site needs a day that requires a special trip, the price may change.

One point worth knowing: Cal/OSHA requires job site toilets to be kept clean, in working order and supplied with toilet paper, but it does not set a pumping schedule (Title 8 §1526). The employer is responsible for the result, so the service plan has to fit how hard the units are used. If a unit fills before service day, call us and we will come out.

Waste goes to an approved receiving facility.

How much does a porta potty rental cost?

Rental Starting price Billing
Construction portable toilet $189 Per 28 days, weekly service included
Standard portable toilet for an event $189 Per unit
ADA-accessible unit Call for a quote Per 28 days on job sites; shorter rentals for events
Hand-wash station Call for a quote Per 28 days on job sites; shorter rentals for events
Extra service visit Call for a quote Per visit
Restroom trailer (two-station, through our partner) Quote only Per event
Delivery and pickup Quoted up front Delivery and pickup fee

We do not add fuel or environmental surcharges. The things that change a quote are the unit type, how long you keep it, how often it is serviced and whether the truck can reach it easily. Multi-unit orders are quoted by the job. Ask about bundle pricing when you order portable toilets together with a dumpster or fence. The pricing page explains each one.

Who rents portable toilets from us?

Contractors and builders

Any California job site needs toilets and washing facilities for the crew. We deliver to custom homes, tract developments, tenant improvements, grading jobs and public projects. Start with construction porta potty rental, or go straight to your trade:

Contractors who also need debris boxes and fence can put all three on one quote. See job site services. Dumpsters come from our sister company, Victory Dumpsters.

Event organizers

Events need the right count for the crowd, at least one accessible unit in each group of toilets and, where food is served, hand washing. See event porta potty rental or the page for your event:

Homeowners

A kitchen or bathroom remodel can leave a house without a working toilet, and many owners would prefer the crew not walk through the house. One unit on the driveway covers it. The same goes for an ADU build in the back yard. See home remodels and ADU construction.

Farms, vineyards and other outdoor employers

Field crews fall under California's field sanitation rule, which requires toilets and hand-washing facilities for each 20 employees, within a quarter-mile walk or five minutes, whichever is shorter (Title 8 §3457). Ask us about units and hand-wash stations for harvest and seasonal crews.

How many porta potties do I need?

Job sites. California requires one toilet for every 20 employees or fraction of 20, and one washing station on the same ratio. A site with fewer than five employees needs one single-user unit (Cal/OSHA §1526 and §1527). Twenty-one workers means two toilets. Details are in the Cal/OSHA requirements guide.

Events. There is no single legal ratio. Planners use the Portable Sanitation Association International chart, which sets the count by crowd size and hours (PSAI). As examples, the chart gives 5 units for 500 people over four hours and 8 units for 1,000 people over four hours. Alcohol, heat and long hours push the number up.

The how many porta potties calculator works it out for your crowd, hours and alcohol service.

Do I need a permit for a portable toilet?

Usually not, if the unit sits on private property for a construction project, a remodel or a private party. Two cases are different:

  • Public right-of-way. A unit on a street, sidewalk or parkway generally needs an encroachment permit from the city or county that owns the road.
  • Public or permitted events. A special event or temporary use permit application normally asks how many portable toilets you will have and where they go.

Lead times vary widely across our area:

Jurisdiction Apply at least
Temecula 30 days ahead
Menifee, Lake Elsinore, Wildomar 60 days ahead
Murrieta 4 to 6 months (small events); 6 to 12 months (large)
Unincorporated Riverside County 60 or 90 days, depending on the event

Sources, links to each application and the rules for accessible units are in the porta potty permit guide. We can supply our company details, unit counts and delivery times for your form.

Where do the units go?

  • On firm, level ground. Asphalt, concrete, compacted dirt or gravel all work.
  • Within about 30 feet of where our service truck can park.
  • About 50 feet from storm drains and drainage where the site allows, which is what California's construction stormwater guidance recommends (CASQA WM-9).
  • Off the public street unless you hold an encroachment permit.
  • For accessible units, on a level spot connected to a firm path a wheelchair can use.

Portable toilet rental FAQ

What is the difference between a porta potty and a portable toilet? Nothing. "Porta potty" is the everyday name, "portable toilet" and "portable restroom" are the trade names, and all three mean a self-contained single-user unit with a holding tank.

Is there a minimum rental period? Job site rentals bill in 28-day periods. Shorter rentals are available for special events.

How quickly can I get a unit? We offer same-day and next-day delivery, seven days a week. Every day is different. The earlier you call, the better the chance of same-day delivery.

Do the units have running water? A standard portable toilet does not connect to water or sewer. Our units do not have hand sanitizer dispensers either. That is why we recommend a separate hand-wash station, and why a job site needs one.

Is hand sanitizer enough on a job site? No. Cal/OSHA requires a washing station with water, soap and single-use towels or a dryer, and with portable toilets it must sit outside the unit (§1527). See hand-wash stations.

Do I need an ADA-accessible unit? At a public event in California, yes: at least one in every group of portable toilets. On a construction site used only by the crew, federal standards do not require one. The ADA-accessible unit page has the sources.

Can a unit go on grass or dirt? Yes, if the ground is firm and level and the truck can reach it. Soft or muddy ground after rain can stop a service truck, so tell us if the access is unpaved.

Can you lock a unit overnight? You can padlock a unit overnight with your own lock. Leave it unlocked, or give us the combination, on service day.

What should not go in the tank? Only human waste and toilet paper. Trash, wipes, food and construction debris clog the pump hose and make service harder.

What if a unit is damaged or tipped over? If a unit is tipped over or damaged, call us and we will reset, clean or replace it. The renter is responsible for damage beyond normal wear, and a service fee may apply. On windy or exposed sites, ask us about staking or tying down the units.

Do you rent dumpsters too? Dumpsters come from our sister company, Victory Dumpsters, and can be quoted with your toilets. See dumpster rental.

Who is Victory Portable Restrooms? A family-owned company based in Murrieta, founded in 2026. Our family has worked in the local waste industry for years through Temecula Valley Junk Pick Up and Victory Dumpster Rentals. Read more on the about page, or find more answers in the full FAQ.
