Porta Potty Rental in Temecula, CA
Victory Portable Restrooms delivers porta potties to Temecula from our yard at 26245 Monroe Ave in Murrieta, one city north on the I-15. We rent standard and construction portable toilets, ADA-accessible units and hand-wash stations for job sites, remodels, weddings and public events, and we arrange restroom trailers through our partners. Construction units start at $189 per 28 days with weekly service included, plus a delivery and pickup fee.
How far is Temecula from your yard?
Temecula is the next city south of us. Our trucks take Jefferson Avenue or the I-15 from Monroe Ave, and the distance depends on which part of Temecula you are in:
- Old Town and the Jefferson Avenue business corridor: about 2 to 5 miles.
- Central Temecula, Redhawk and Ronald Reagan Sports Park: about 6 to 8 miles.
- The Pechanga area and Temecula Parkway: about 7 to 9 miles.
- Wine country along Rancho California Road and De Portola Road: about 8 to 14 miles, most of it on surface streets east of the freeway.
We offer same-day and next-day delivery. Wine country addresses take longer to reach than Old Town, so for a weekend event out there, book the delivery window early. The office answers from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week, and the same number is answered 24 hours a day for emergencies.
Do I need a permit for a porta potty in Temecula?
A portable toilet on private property for a construction project or a remodel does not normally need a permit of its own. The permit attaches to the event or to the location, and in Temecula the first question is which side of the city limit you are on.
Inside the city: Temporary Use Permit. The City of Temecula uses a Temporary Use Permit (TUP) for special or limited-duration uses of property. Fairs, festivals, concerts and large outdoor events are the listed examples. The city asks you to apply at least 30 days before the event and says staff review takes about three weeks (City of Temecula, Temporary Use Permits). The same page points to other approvals an event may need: Building and Safety for tents over 300 square feet, stages and generators, the Fire Department, Riverside County Environmental Health for food, and ABC for alcohol. The city's TUP application prints its own toilet requirement tables, based on the number of patrons, whether alcohol is served and how long the event runs, and it asks for details of ADA toilet facilities (TUP application, form PL-76). Work out your count from those tables and be ready to show the units on the site plan.
On a street or sidewalk. Temecula requires an encroachment permit before construction in the public right-of-way, and says other work there may need one too (City of Temecula, Encroachment Permits), and Public Works handles road closures and right-of-way use for events. Keep the unit on your driveway or lot if you can.
Wine country is mostly outside the city. Many wineries along Rancho California Road and De Portola Road sit in unincorporated Riverside County, east of the Temecula city limit, so ask your venue which jurisdiction it is in. County rules apply there, not the city's TUP. Under the county's Wine Country zoning, a winery hosts weddings as a "special occasion facility" under its own county approval, and guest counts are set venue by venue (Riverside County Code Ch. 17.142). If you are renting a private estate for a paid event, ask the owner what the property is approved for before you book vendors. Our porta potty permit guide compares the city and county rules side by side.
Pechanga. The Pechanga Resort Casino is on the Pechanga Band's reservation. Work or events there follow the tribe's and the resort's requirements.
What do wine country weddings and winery events need?
Temecula Valley has nearly 50 wineries (Visit Temecula Valley), and many host weddings. Some winery sites are on septic systems, and a venue's permanent restrooms may not cover a large guest count, so ask the venue and plan extra units if needed. Three things matter for these events:
- Guest count and alcohol. The industry's planning chart says to add 10 to 20 percent more units when alcohol is served (PSAI). A winery wedding is an alcohol event, so plan at the high end. Our porta potty calculator does the math.
- Restroom trailers. Many couples prefer a trailer with flushing toilets and sinks. We arrange restroom trailers through our partners. A trailer needs level ground, truck access and a power source, so check all three with the venue. Our partner supplies a two-station trailer, quoted by the job, and we need at least 7 days' notice.
- Venue rules. Ask the venue coordinator where units can sit, when delivery trucks are allowed in, and when everything must be gone. County zoning requires wineries to screen service areas from neighbors, so placement is often decided for you.
Local wedding demand peaks in spring and again in late September and October (Palos Studio), so reserve early for those months. See porta potties for weddings. Event rentals start at $189 per unit.
Vineyard managers have a separate rule. Cal/OSHA's field sanitation standard requires toilets and hand-washing for hand-labor crews within a quarter-mile walk, with written service records kept for two years (8 CCR §3457). Our weekly service gives you dated records.
What does a porta potty cost in Temecula?
A construction porta potty starts at $189 per 28 days with weekly pumping and cleaning included. ADA-accessible units and hand-wash stations are priced separately. There is a delivery and pickup fee. We do not add fuel or environmental surcharges. Full details are on our pricing page.
Which Temecula events and projects use portable toilets?
Old Town events. The city's 4th of July parade runs along Old Town Front Street, and street events there mean road closures and crowds well beyond what the shops' restrooms can handle (City of Temecula). Organizers of street fairs, car shows and runs in Old Town usually need units plus a TUP. See community events and festivals and concerts.
Ronald Reagan Sports Park and city parks. The sports park on Rancho Vista Road hosts the city's 4th of July evening event and fireworks (City of Temecula), and it has lit and unlit ball fields and football and soccer fields (park page). Tournament weekends put far more people on the fields than the park restrooms were sized for. See sports tournaments.
Commercial and residential construction. Tenant improvements along Jefferson Avenue and Temecula Parkway, custom homes on the hillsides, and remodels and ADUs in older tracts all need a unit for the crew. See construction porta potty rental, custom home builds and ADU construction.
Backyard parties. Graduations, quinceañeras and receptions at home. See private parties.
How many units does a Temecula construction crew need?
Cal/OSHA requires one toilet and one hand-wash station for every 20 workers, counting any fraction of 20 as a full 20. A crew of four or fewer can use a single unit. The rule is in Title 8 §1526 and §1527, and our Cal/OSHA porta potty guide covers the exceptions.
If the same job needs a roll-off dumpster or temporary fence, ask for them in the same quote. Dumpsters come from our sister company, Victory Dumpsters, and fence panels are arranged through our partners. See job site services.
Temecula porta potty rental FAQ
Do you deliver to wineries on Rancho California Road and De Portola Road? Yes. Tell us the venue name and your coordinator's contact, and we will confirm the delivery and pickup times the venue allows.

How many accessible units does a public event need? California's building code requires 5 percent of the units in each cluster, and never fewer than one, to be accessible (CBC 11B-213.2).
Can a unit be delivered the day before a Saturday wedding? Yes, if the venue allows it. We deliver seven days a week. We deliver the day before or the morning of your event and pick up afterward or the next day, depending on the schedule.
Do you service units during a multi-day event? Yes. Extra service visits can be scheduled between event days.
Which nearby areas do you cover? Murrieta, French Valley and Winchester. See all service areas.
