Porta Potty Rental in Cherry Valley, CA
Victory Portable Restrooms delivers porta potties to Cherry Valley for parties and weddings on rural lots, orchard and farm events, custom-home builds and gatherings at Bogart Park. We rent standard and construction portable toilets, ADA-accessible units and hand-wash stations. Cherry Valley is unincorporated, so Riverside County sets the permit rules, not the City of Beaumont.
What makes Cherry Valley different from Beaumont next door?
Cherry Valley is the rural community on the slope north of Beaumont. The 2020 census counted 6,509 residents on about 8 square miles (U.S. Census Bureau). Lots tend to be large, and many properties keep animals.
For portable toilets that means:
- Septic systems. If the property is on private septic, not sewer, the system is not built for 75 guests in an afternoon.
- Distance. On an acre or more, the house bathroom can be a long walk from the barn, the arena or the party tent.
- Access. Long driveways, gates and dirt lanes. Our service truck has to reach the unit to pump it.
Parties, weddings and reunions on acreage
A porta potty or two near the tent keeps guests off the septic system and out of the house. Our calculator gives a count for your guest list and hours; add more when alcohol is served. For a wedding where you want flushing toilets and sinks, we arrange restroom trailers through partners, quoted per event. See weddings and private parties. Event rentals start at $189 per unit.
Does the county require a permit?
Often not, for a private party. Riverside County's Temporary Event Permit rules, as we read them:
| Event | County temporary event permit? |
|---|---|
| Wedding, birthday or graduation party at a home, up to 100 attendees, no more than four such events on the lot in 12 months | No |
| Fewer than 100 attendees on a lot of at least 1 gross acre | No |
| Fewer than 300 attendees on a lot over 10 gross acres | No |
| Larger, ticketed or commercial events | Yes. File at least 60 days ahead, or 90 days for the larger tiers, annual and commercial events |
Sources: County filing instructions, supplemental form and County Code Ch. 17.256, third-party copy. The code does not print a toilet count. It asks for a sewage, water and food plan approved by County Environmental Health. Commercial events are barred in some zones, so call County Planning before renting out your property. A unit in a county road right-of-way needs an encroachment permit from County Transportation, which is rarely necessary on a lot this size. See our permit guide.
Orchards, lavender and farm events
Cherry Valley still has working farms that open to the public.
- Lavender. 123 Farm at Highland Springs Ranch & Inn, 10600 Highland Springs Avenue, holds a lavender festival each summer. In 2026 it ran on select dates from June 5 to July 19 (Highland Springs Ranch & Inn; Secret Los Angeles). Dates change each year, so check with the venue.
- Cherries. U-pick season is usually late spring into early summer. Guldseth Cherry Orchard on Whispering Pines Road is one listed u-pick orchard (PickYourOwn.org). The Cherry Festival itself is held in Beaumont.
These are examples of local farm events, not customers of ours. A u-pick weekend or farm-stand event can put a few hundred visitors on a property with one house bathroom. Portable restrooms and a hand-wash station near the parking area fix that. See markets and festivals and concerts.
Picking and pruning crews fall under a different rule from builders. For hand-labor agricultural work, Cal/OSHA requires toilets and hand-washing facilities for each 20 employees or fraction, within a quarter-mile walk or five minutes, whichever is shorter, and written service records kept for two years (8 CCR §3457).
Bogart Park and district events
Bogart Regional Park is run by the Beaumont-Cherry Valley Recreation and Park District. The district's 2026 event list included a Spring Fling, a fishing derby, Fiesta de Mayo, an Oktoberfest, a Pumpkin Dash and Winterfest (BCV Parks). For an event there, ask the district office what it requires of outside vendors before you order. See community events.
Custom homes, barns and remodels
Building here tends to be one lot at a time: custom homes, barns, ADUs and additions. Cal/OSHA's minimum is one toilet and one hand-wash station per 20 workers, and a crew under five can use a single unit (§1526, §1527; see the Cal/OSHA guide). Construction units start at $189 per 28 days with weekly service, plus a delivery and pickup fee, with no fuel or environmental surcharges. See custom home builds and pricing. Dumpsters come from our sister company, Victory Dumpsters.

Our yard is at 26245 Monroe Ave in Murrieta. We reach Cherry Valley through Beaumont, either by I-215 and SR-60 or by SR-79 over Lamb Canyon, then north on Beaumont Avenue. That is roughly 37 to 40 miles each way. We do not promise same-day delivery here. Ask when you call, and book event units a week or more ahead if you can. Every day is different. The earlier you call, the better the chance of same-day delivery. Phones are answered 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, and 24 hours a day for emergencies.
Cherry Valley FAQ
Can your truck handle my dirt driveway? Usually, if a loaded pump truck can drive it and turn around. Send a photo or map pin. After rain, the unit may need to sit closer to the pavement.
It gets windy up here. Is that a problem? The Pass is known for strong wind. We place units on level ground beside a building or fence where possible. On windy or exposed sites, ask us about staking or tying down the units.
Do I still get weekly service this far out? Yes, on every 28-day rental.
Where else do you deliver nearby? Beaumont, Calimesa and Banning. See service areas.
