Porta Potty Rental in Banning, CA
Victory Portable Restrooms rents porta potties in Banning for rodeo and parade weekends, park events, housing construction and home projects. Units come from our yard in Murrieta, roughly 40 miles away, so most Banning orders are booked ahead instead of same-day. Construction portable toilets start at $189 per 28 days with weekly service included, plus a delivery and pickup fee.
What are portable toilets used for in Banning?
Stagecoach Days and events at Dysart Park. Stagecoach Days is Banning's long-running rodeo weekend, organized by an all-volunteer nonprofit (Record Gazette). Listings showed the 2026 rodeo on September 11 and 12 at A.C. Dysart Park, with a beer garden, vendors and a kids zone, and past years have included a parade on Ramsey Street (FestivalNet). Check each year's dates with the Stagecoach Days Association. Arena events put crowds, livestock trailers, food booths and beer in one dirt lot, which is the standard case for extra units and stand-alone hand-wash stations.
Concerts and downtown events. The Playhouse Bowl summer concert series has used Repplier Park at 749 N. San Gorgonio Avenue (Record Gazette). Parade staging areas, vendor rows and car shows along Ramsey Street have no public restrooms of their own.
New housing. Banning added about 2.5% to its population in a year, one of the faster rates in the county (Department of Finance E-1 release). One large project is Atwell, a Tri Pointe Homes master plan. The City Council approved a tentative tract map there covering 160 acres, 544 single-family lots and 248 duplex condominium units (Record Gazette). South of I-10, the Rancho San Gorgonio specific plan allows up to 3,385 homes on about 830 acres (CEQAnet). See porta potties for home builders.
The airport area. Banning Municipal Airport sits on the south side of I-10 next to the Morongo Reservation. Federal legislation in 2024 cleared the city to close it (FLYING Magazine), and the city has worked with a developer on an industrial park of about 3.3 million square feet on roughly 203 acres (Record Gazette). If that work starts, it will be large-crew commercial construction with grading and paving first.
Older homes and remodels. Much of central Banning is older housing, where a bathroom remodel can leave a one-bath house with no toilet for weeks. One unit on the driveway covers the crew and the family. See home remodels.
How do we get to Banning, and how fast?
From 26245 Monroe Ave in Murrieta we have two routes:
- I-215 north to SR-60 east, through the Badlands to I-10, then east past Beaumont to the Banning exits.
- SR-79 north through Winchester, Hemet and San Jacinto, over Lamb Canyon to I-10 at Beaumont, then east.
Banning is a few miles past Beaumont on either route. It is a long run for the truck. Because of that, we do not promise same-day delivery in Banning. We do offer it where routes allow, so ask when you call. Every day is different. The earlier you call, the better the chance of same-day delivery. For events, book as soon as your date is set.
Our phones are answered 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day, and the same number is answered 24 hours a day for emergencies.
What permits does the City of Banning require?
A portable toilet on private property for a construction project or remodel does not normally need its own permit. The city gets involved in two cases.
| Situation | Who to contact | What the city says |
|---|---|---|
| Parade, march or other gathering in a public place that affects traffic | Parks and Recreation, 789 N. San Gorgonio Ave, (951) 922-3242 | The Recreation Department accepts the Special Event Permit application and reviews it with the other city departments (City of Banning, Special Event Application) |
| Anything placed or built in the public right-of-way | Public Works Engineering Division, (951) 922-3180 | An encroachment permit is required and is submitted, reviewed and issued through the city's SmartGov online portal. Traffic control plans need the City Engineer's approval (City of Banning, Land Development Services) |
The city's application form says applications must be turned in at least 30 days before the event. It does not give a restroom ratio, so ask the Recreation Department early. We can supply our company details, unit counts and delivery times for the form. If your event uses Dysart Park or Repplier Park, ask about park reservation terms at the same time.
Land on the Morongo Reservation, which borders the city, is not under city permits. See our Cabazon page for more on that.
General permit background is in our porta potty permit guide.
How many units for a rodeo, parade or concert?
The industry chart from PSAI assumes no pumping during the event and an even mix of men and women (PSAI):
| Crowd | 4 hours | 6 hours | 8 hours |
|---|---|---|---|
| 500 | 5 | 7 | 9 |
| 1,000 | 8 | 9 | 12 |
| 2,000 | 12 | 16 | 20 |
Adjust from there:
- Beer garden. PSAI says add 10 to 20 percent when alcohol is served. San Bernardino County's health department says 40 percent (San Bernardino County DPH).
- Two-day events. The chart assumes no service. A Friday and Saturday rodeo needs a pump-out between days or more units.
- Accessible units. California requires 5 percent of the units in each cluster, and at least one, to be accessible (CBC §11B-213.2).
- Food booths. Riverside County Environmental Health expects restrooms with hand washing within 200 feet of temporary food booths (County DEH checklist).
Our calculator guide covers other sizes. Related pages: races and car shows, festivals and concerts and community events. Event rentals start at $189 per unit.
What about job sites?
Cal/OSHA requires one toilet and one hand-wash station for every 20 workers or fraction of 20, with the wash station outside the toilet. A crew of fewer than five can use one single-user unit (8 CCR §1526, §1527). Details are in the Cal/OSHA guide.
Construction units are $189 per 28 days and up with weekly service, plus a delivery and pickup fee, with no fuel or environmental surcharges. See pricing. Dumpsters for the same site come from our sister company, Victory Dumpsters, and we arrange temporary fence through partners.
Banning porta potty rental FAQ
It is windy in Banning. Will the unit stay put? The Pass near Banning gets frequent wind advisories. In April 2026 the forecast behind a regional dust advisory called for gusts of 50 to 60 mph (South Coast AQMD). Stormwater guidance says units should be secured against overturning in high winds (CASQA WM-9). We place units against a wall or fence line where we can. On windy or exposed sites, ask us about staking or tying down the units.
Can you set up at the park the day before? Usually, if the park allows it. We deliver the day before or the morning of your event and pick up afterward or the next day, depending on the schedule. Check with the Recreation Department about overnight placement.
Do you serve the 55-plus communities on the west side? Yes. Gated and HOA communities may have rules on where a unit can sit and for how long, so check with the association first.
Which nearby areas do you cover? Beaumont, Cabazon, Cherry Valley and Calimesa. We do not serve the Coachella Valley. See service areas.
