Porta Potty Rental in Lakeland Village, CA
Victory Portable Restrooms rents porta potties in Lakeland Village, the unincorporated community along Grand Avenue on the south shore of Lake Elsinore. We deliver standard and construction portable toilets, ADA-accessible units and hand-wash stations from our Murrieta yard, with weekly service included on 28-day rentals. Construction units start at $189 per 28 days, plus a delivery and pickup fee.
Is Lakeland Village part of Lake Elsinore?
No, and it changes which rules you follow. Lakeland Village is a census-designated place of 12,364 people (2020 census) next to the city of Lake Elsinore, not inside it (U.S. Census Bureau QuickFacts). Many addresses here say "Lake Elsinore" on the mail. Permits still come from Riverside County, not from Lake Elsinore City Hall.
If your site is inside the city limits, use our Lake Elsinore page. If it is near Corydon Road, you may be in Wildomar. Not sure? Give us the address and we will check.
Why do Lakeland Village properties rent portable toilets?
Septic repairs and sewer conversions. The local water district, EVMWD, runs a septic-to-sewer program in parts of its service area (EVMWD septic program). Ask the district whether your street is included. When a tank fails, is pumped out for repair, or is being abandoned for a sewer lateral, the house has no working toilet for days. One unit on the driveway covers the household and the crew.
Remodels and rebuilds. Homes along and above Grand Avenue get gutted, added onto or replaced. A unit outside keeps crews out of a house that may have one bathroom. See home remodels and custom home builds.
Gatherings at home. A household septic system is sized for a family, not for 70 guests at a birthday, quinceañera or memorial. A portable restroom or two takes the load off the tank and the leach field. See private parties.
Community events. The Lakeland Village Community Center on Grand Avenue rents space for events, according to the county's community council minutes (Riverside County, Lakeland Village CAC). Ask the center what it expects from outside vendors. See community events.
How do you get here from Murrieta?
It is a short trip. We take the I-15 north a few exits into Wildomar, cut west on Clinton Keith Road or Bundy Canyon Road, and follow Grand Avenue or Corydon Road up into Lakeland Village. Most addresses are about 12 to 17 miles from the yard at 26245 Monroe Ave.
Same-day and next-day delivery are available. We answer 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day of the week, and the same number is answered 24 hours a day for emergencies, which is when most septic calls come in.
Which county rules apply?
A unit on your own lot. For a remodel, a septic job or a private party, a porta potty on private property does not normally need a permit of its own.
A unit on the road. In unincorporated areas, Riverside County's Transportation Department issues encroachment permits for anything in a county road right-of-way (Riverside County Transportation, Encroachment Permits). Near Ortega Highway, Grand Avenue has also carried State Route 74. On a state highway the permit comes from Caltrans, not the county (Caltrans encroachment permits), so ask which agency controls your stretch. Grand Avenue is busy and has little shoulder, so we place units on the lot, not at the road edge.
An event the public is invited to. The county's temporary event rules are in County Code Chapter 17.256. In short:
- Events over 100 attendees are not allowed on lots of 10,000 square feet or less, and events over 300 are not allowed on lots under one gross acre. Many Lakeland Village lots are small, so check this first.
- Applications are due at least 60 days ahead for smaller and seasonal events and 90 days ahead for larger, annual or commercial ones.
- Commercial events are prohibited in some residential zones. Call County Planning before you sell tickets.
Lake Elsinore's city permit process does not apply here, although it does apply at city parks and beaches across the lake. Our permit guide compares the two.
Where should the unit sit on a lake-side lot?
- On firm, level ground. Shim or grade a pad on sloped lots. A unit on a slope is unstable.
- Off the septic tank and leach field. Never put a unit, or let a truck drive, over either one. Mark them before we arrive.
- Back from the water. State stormwater guidance recommends about 50 feet from drainage where the site allows (CASQA fact sheet WM-9). The county also maps a flood hazard area along the shore (Lakeland Village Community Planning, CEQAnet), and the lake level moves from year to year. Keep units on the high side of the lot.
Cost and job site rules
Construction units start at $189 per 28 days with weekly pumping, cleaning and restocking. There is a delivery and pickup fee, with no fuel or environmental surcharges. Event rentals start at $189 per unit. See pricing.
On a job site, Cal/OSHA requires one toilet and one hand-wash station for every 20 workers, and one single-user unit for a crew under five (§1526, §1527). Our Cal/OSHA guide has the details, and the calculator covers events.
