Porta Potty Rental in Good Hope, CA

Victory Portable Restrooms delivers porta potties to Good Hope, the rural community along Highway 74 just west of Perris. We bring standard and construction portable toilets, ADA-accessible units and hand-wash stations from our Murrieta yard for home builds, utility and road crews, and family gatherings on large lots. Construction units start at $189 per 28 days with weekly service included, plus a delivery and pickup fee.

Where is Good Hope?

Good Hope sits on both sides of Highway 74 between Perris and Meadowbrook, running up toward Steele Peak. It takes its name from the Good Hope Mine, a gold mine whose site lies just west of the highway (Wikipedia, Good Hope Mine). The census counted 9,468 residents in 2020 on about 11 square miles (U.S. Census Bureau).

The ZIP code is 92570 and the mailing address says Perris, but Good Hope is unincorporated. Riverside County is the permit authority.

Who orders a porta potty in Good Hope?

Owner-builders and small contractors. Many jobs here are on rural home lots. Check the zoning for your parcel with County Planning. Typical jobs are a new house on a family lot, a garage or shop, a manufactured home set, or a block wall and grading. Crews on these jobs have no bathroom to use until the house is nearly done. One construction portable toilet with weekly service covers up to 20 workers. See custom home builds and home remodels.

Utility, drainage and road crews. Public agencies have planned or approved work in the ground here. Ask each agency for its construction schedule:

  • The Riverside County Flood Control District's Good Hope-Olive Storm Drain project covers about 12,500 feet of storm drain plus a detention basin, in streets including Olive Avenue, Read Street, Theda Street and Mountain Avenue (CEQAnet).
  • Eastern Municipal Water District approved about 13,450 feet of new 8-inch water pipeline in the Mead Valley and Good Hope communities (CEQAnet).
  • The county approved an item in June 2026 for an expansion of the park at the Moses Schaffer Community Center on Steele Peak Drive (Riverside County Board of Supervisors).

Pipeline crews move down the street as they go, so the unit has to move with them. We can move a unit when we are on site for your regular service. If you need it moved sooner and we have to make a special trip, a relocation fee applies, and the amount depends on the location. See public works and grading and paving.

Highway 74 businesses and new commercial sites. In December 2023 the county adopted the Highway 74 Community Plan, which re-designated land along the corridor through Good Hope for commercial, mixed use, light industrial and housing (Riverside County Planning). Projects that follow from it start on bare lots with no utilities. See commercial construction.

Families hosting on their own land. Birthdays, baptisms, quinceañeras and memorials are held at home here because there is room. If your property relies on a septic system, a tank built for one household can back up under a crowd. One or two units for the day take the load off. See private parties.

Horse and animal properties. A unit by the arena or corrals saves riders and visitors the walk to the house during a clinic or a roping.

When does a home event need a county permit?

Under Riverside County's temporary event chapter, these events do not need a temporary event permit (County Code Chapter 17.256):

  1. A wedding, birthday or similar event at a dwelling with up to 100 people, no more than four times per lot in 12 months.
  2. Fewer than 100 people on a lot of at least one gross acre.
  3. Fewer than 300 people on a lot larger than 10 gross acres.

Anything larger, or any event where you charge admission, needs a call to County Planning. Applications are due 60 or 90 days before the event depending on its size. The code does not set a toilet count. Use our calculator for the number and the permit guide for the process.

Delivery and placement on unpaved roads

From 26245 Monroe Ave we have two ways in: I-215 north to the Highway 74 exit in Perris and then west, or I-15 north to Lake Elsinore and east on Highway 74 through Meadowbrook. It is about 22 miles. We offer same-day and next-day delivery, answer the phone 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week, and take emergency calls on the same number at any hour. Every day is different. The earlier you call, the better the chance of same-day delivery.

Tell us if your street is unpaved or your lot collects runoff. That matters for a porta potty in three ways:

  • Pick high, firm ground. A unit in a low spot can end up standing in runoff. California stormwater guidance says to keep portable toilets about 50 feet from drainage courses where the site allows (CASQA fact sheet WM-9).
  • Leave a path for the pump truck. It comes every week and it is heavy. After rain we may ask to move the unit closer to the road.
  • Keep it on your property. A unit in the county road right-of-way needs an encroachment permit from County Transportation.

Cost

Construction units start at $189 per 28 days with weekly service, plus a delivery and pickup fee. There are no fuel or environmental surcharges. Event rentals start at $189 per unit. See pricing. If the job also needs a roll-off, dumpsters come from our sister company, Victory Dumpsters.
