Porta Potty Rental in Norco, CA

Victory Portable Restrooms rents porta potties in Norco for horse properties, arena and rodeo events, barn and home construction, and backyard parties on large lots. We bring standard and construction portable toilets, ADA-accessible units and hand-wash stations up the I-15 from our Murrieta yard. Construction units start at $189 per 28 days with weekly service included, plus a delivery and pickup fee.

Where can a porta potty sit on a Norco property?

This is the first question in Norco, because the strip along the street is usually not a sidewalk. It is a horse trail. One magazine profile of the city put the network at about 140 miles (Business View Magazine).

The city zones those trails as a Pedestrian-Equestrian zone. Its code makes it unlawful for a motor vehicle to park, ride or drive on the trail, except to cross it at a driveway or to maintain it (Norco Municipal Code Ch. 18.28). In practice that means:

  • The unit goes on your lot, behind the trail. Not on the trail and not on the road shoulder.
  • Our truck crosses the trail at your driveway and parks on your property to deliver and to service the unit each week.
  • Pick a spot the truck can reach without backing through animals. Next to the driveway, by the barn apron or beside the arena gate usually works.
  • Keep it away from corrals and wash racks where runoff collects. State stormwater guidance suggests about 50 feet from drainage where the site allows (CASQA WM-9).

If the only possible spot is in the public right-of-way, you need an encroachment permit from the city first. Norco's encroachment application has listed not blocking the pedestrian and equestrian trail among its conditions (City of Norco encroachment permit application). Ask the city for the current form.

Who rents portable toilets in Norco?

Horse property owners. The city describes its residential neighborhoods as large lots, typically a half-acre or larger, with permanent animal-keeping areas (City of Norco). The house can be a long walk from the arena. Owners rent a unit for a private show, a clinic, a gymkhana day or a roping weekend so riders and families are not walking through the house in boots.

Barn, arena and home builders. Crews building barns, covered arenas, shops, additions and ADUs on these lots work at the back of the property for weeks. See custom home builds, home remodels and landscape contractors.

Event organizers. Rodeo weekends, the fair, parades and tournaments. More on those below.

Party hosts. A half-acre lot holds a big graduation, quinceañera or reception. One or two units and a hand-wash station keep the line out of the house. See private parties and weddings.

Commercial contractors. Retail and tenant work along the city's commercial streets. See general contractors.

Porta potties for rodeo and arena events

Norco's main venue is the city's George Ingalls Equestrian Event Center. The city's events page lists three rodeo dates there each year: the Norco Horseweek rodeo in spring, the Norco Fair's ranch rodeo, and the Norco Mounted Posse's PRCA rodeo (City of Norco). The Norco Fair has traditionally run over Labor Day weekend. Check with the organizers for current dates.

If you are a vendor, a club or a promoter booking the center or another city property, ask the city what restrooms the venue already provides and what it expects you to bring. For horse events we suggest:

  • Splitting units between the spectator side and the trailer parking and warm-up side, so riders do not cross the crowd.
  • Adding hand-wash stations near food vendors and near stalls.
  • Scheduling a pump-out between days for a multi-day show. The industry count of 5 units for 500 people over four hours assumes no service during the event (PSAI). Use our calculator for your numbers.
  • Including accessible units. California requires 5 percent of each cluster, and at least one (CBC 11B-213.2).

See fairs and carnivals, sports tournaments and community events. Event rentals start at $189 per unit.

What permit does a Norco event need?

Norco handles special events through its zoning code, Chapter 18.51. Applications go to the Planning Division, and the Board of Zoning Adjustment decides them.

Type of event File at least
Most special events on private property 30 calendar days before
Parking lot and sidewalk sales, swap meets 14 calendar days before
Events on city or other public property 90 days before

Other points from the same chapter:

  • Carnivals, circuses and rodeos are limited to 15 calendar days or three weekends in any 180-day period.
  • Parades and outdoor festivals also need City Council approval.
  • City-sponsored events on city property are exempt.
  • The chapter sets no toilet count. The board may require "provisions for sanitary facilities" as a condition, so expect to show where units will go.

A private party at your home is not what this chapter is aimed at, but ask the Planning Division if you plan to charge admission or sell to the public. For trash and vendor rules, check the event application. Our permit guide has more.

How far is Norco from your yard?

Norco is the far end of our I-15 route. From 26245 Monroe Ave in Murrieta we drive north through Lake Elsinore, Temescal Valley and Corona, cross the 91, and exit at Second Street or Sixth Street. It is roughly 36 to 40 miles. Allow extra time when the I-15 and 91 interchange is backed up.

We offer same-day and next-day delivery. Because of the distance, next-day is the safer plan for Norco. Every day is different. The earlier you call, the better the chance of same-day delivery. We answer the phone 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day, and around the clock for emergencies.

Pricing and job site rules

Construction porta potties start at $189 per 28 days with weekly pumping, cleaning and restocking. There is a delivery and pickup fee, with no fuel or environmental surcharges. See pricing.

On a construction site, Cal/OSHA requires one toilet and one hand-wash station for every 20 workers or fraction of 20. A crew under five can use one single-user unit (§1526, §1527). See the Cal/OSHA guide. If the job also needs a roll-off, dumpsters come from our sister company, Victory Dumpsters.

Norco porta potty rental FAQ

Can the unit sit on the trail in front of my house for one weekend? No. Keep it on your own lot. The trail is a public way for riders and walkers, and anything placed in the right-of-way needs a city encroachment permit.

Will the service truck bother my horses? The pump runs for a few minutes per unit. Tell us if animals are close by and we will agree a spot and a time of day that suits you.

How many units for a backyard event with 100 guests? Two standard units and a hand-wash station is a common setup for an afternoon. Add one if alcohol is served or the event runs past four hours. The calculator gives exact figures.

Do you deliver near Norco too? Yes: Corona, Eastvale, Jurupa Valley and Riverside. See all service areas.
