Porta Potty Rental in Corona, CA
Victory Portable Restrooms delivers porta potties to Corona from our yard in Murrieta, straight up the I-15. We rent standard and construction portable toilets, ADA-accessible units and hand-wash stations for commercial and industrial job sites, hillside home builds, remodels and events. Construction units start at $189 per 28 days with weekly service included, plus a delivery and pickup fee.
How do you get to Corona from Murrieta, and how long does it take?
Corona is at the north end of our I-15 run. From 26245 Monroe Ave we join the I-15 in Murrieta and drive north through Wildomar, Lake Elsinore and Temescal Valley. Rough distances from the yard:
| Part of Corona | Usual exit | Rough distance |
|---|---|---|
| South Corona, Dos Lagos, Eagle Glen | Cajalco Road or Weirick Road | 29 to 32 miles |
| Central Corona and downtown | Ontario Avenue or Magnolia Avenue | 34 to 36 miles |
| North Corona and the industrial area near the 91 | SR-91, then Main Street or Lincoln Avenue | 36 to 38 miles |
| West Corona and Green River | SR-91 west | 40 to 43 miles |
We will be honest about this drive. The I-15 and the 91 are both heavy commuter routes, and the stretch where they meet in Corona slows down in the morning and again in the afternoon. We plan Corona deliveries and weekly service outside those windows where we can.
Same-day and next-day delivery are both offered. For a same-day unit in Corona, call early in the day. Every day is different. The earlier you call, the better the chance of same-day delivery. Phones are answered 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week, and the same number is answered 24 hours a day for emergencies.
What kinds of Corona job sites do you supply?
Industrial and warehouse sites. Corona has a large industrial base, and older sites are redeveloped from time to time. Two examples reported in the trade press: Link Logistics and Western Realco bought a 16-acre-plus site on Magnolia Avenue to replace older buildings with new logistics space (AJOT), and a five-building, 710,000-square-foot business park was reported as entitled on about 49 acres off Green River Drive (Orange County Business Journal). We have not confirmed the current status of either. Sites like these start with demolition or grading and no working plumbing, so portable toilets and hand-wash stations go in before the first crew. See commercial construction and grading and paving.
Tenant improvements and retail. Work inside an occupied building often comes with a landlord rule that crews stay out of the tenant restrooms. One or two units by the loading area solve it. See general contractors.
Hillside custom homes. Custom and estate home sites in the hills can be steep, with tight street access. These builds can run a long time, and the pad may be the only flat ground. Tell us about the grade and the driveway when you call. A unit has to sit level, and our service truck has to reach it every week. See custom home builds.
Remodels, ADUs and pools. Older homes near downtown and tract homes across the city get kitchens, additions and backyard units. A portable toilet on the driveway keeps the crew out of the house. See home remodels and ADU construction.
Road and utility work. Crews working in and around the freeway corridors move often and need units that move with them. See public works. We can move a unit when we are on site for your regular service. If you need it moved sooner and we have to make a special trip, a relocation fee applies, and the amount depends on the location.
How many units does a Corona crew need?
The count comes from Cal/OSHA and is the same in every California city:
| Workers on site | Toilets | Hand-wash stations |
|---|---|---|
| 1 to 4 | 1 single-user unit | Washing may be inside the unit |
| 5 to 20 | 1 | 1, outside the unit |
| 21 to 40 | 2 | 2 |
| 41 to 60 | 3 | 3 |
Source: 8 CCR §1526 and §1527. Count everyone on site, including subcontractors. Our Cal/OSHA guide explains the details.
One Corona note on placement. The city's construction permit page says that grading a site of one acre or more needs a state stormwater permit (City of Corona). On those sites, plan toilet locations with your stormwater plan. State guidance is to keep portable toilets about 50 feet from drains and gutters where the site allows (CASQA WM-9).
Does Corona require a permit for a portable toilet?
We have not found a city requirement for a separate permit for a unit on your own lot or job site during construction or a remodel. If you are unsure, ask the city. Corona splits the other cases between several departments, and City Hall is open Monday to Thursday and closed on Friday (City of Corona), so start early.
| Where the unit will be | Who to contact | Timing |
|---|---|---|
| Event on a street or other public place | Corona Police Department special event application, 951-736-2414 (Event Permits) | Not stated on the city page. Ask when you call. |
| Event in a city park or facility | Facilities Use Permit, Library and Recreation Services, 951-736-2241 (Event Permits) | Reserve in advance |
| Public outdoor event on private property, such as a carnival, car show or seasonal lot | Special Use Permit from the Planning Division under Corona Municipal Code Chapter 17.98 | The city's application handout has asked for 14 business days, or 21 if police or fire staff are involved or the event is a carnival or circus. Confirm the current deadline with the Planning Division. |
| Block party | Block Party Permit Form (Event Permits) | Ask the city |
| Unit on a street, sidewalk or parkway | Permit for work in the public right-of-way. Start with the city's construction permits page or call 951-736-2262. | Ask the city |
Chapter 17.98 does not print a toilet count. The city can attach conditions to the permit, so ask the planner what they expect. The city's permit handout lists private social gatherings such as weddings and reunions that are not run for commercial profit as exempt. Confirm with the Planning Division. Outdoor music festivals need a separate festival permit under Chapter 5.30. If food is served to the public, Riverside County Environmental Health has its own permit. For trash service at an event, check the event application for the city's requirements.
Whichever permit applies, we can give you unit counts, delivery times and company details for the form. Our permit guide compares lead times across the cities we serve.
Portable toilets for Corona events
Corona's best-known public event is the city's Independence Day celebration: a morning parade on Main Street from Ontario Avenue to Olive Street, then music, food and fireworks at Santana Park (City of Corona). Check the city's page for the current year's details. Around that are youth sports weekends at city parks, school and church festivals, company picnics in the business parks and car shows in parking lots.
Three planning rules cover most of them:
- Count by crowd and hours. The industry chart puts 500 people for four hours at 5 units, with 10 to 20 percent more when alcohol is served (PSAI). Our calculator covers other sizes.
- Include accessible units. California requires 5 percent of the units in each cluster, and never fewer than one, to be accessible (CBC 11B-213.2).
- Add hand-wash stations wherever food is served.
See community events, sports tournaments, corporate events and races and car shows. For weddings and receptions where you want flushing toilets and sinks, we arrange restroom trailers through our partners, priced by quote. Event rentals start at $189 per unit.
What does a porta potty cost in Corona?
Construction portable toilets start at $189 per 28 days. That price includes a weekly visit to pump, clean and restock. There is a delivery and pickup fee. We do not add fuel or environmental surcharges. ADA-accessible units and hand-wash stations are priced separately. See pricing.
Larger sites often need a dumpster and fencing at the same address. Roll-off dumpsters come from our sister company, Victory Dumpsters, and we arrange temporary fence panels through partners. You can ask for all three in one quote. See job site services.
Corona porta potty rental FAQ
Your yard is in Murrieta. Will weekly service really reach Corona? Yes. Weekly service is included on every 28-day rental in Corona. Service runs on a set route, which is how we keep pricing competitive. You can request a specific service day. If your site needs a day that requires a special trip, the price may change.
My job site address says Corona but the ZIP is 92883. Is that the city? Often not. Much of 92883 is Temescal Valley, which is unincorporated, so Riverside County rules apply there. See our Temescal Valley page. The same is true of Home Gardens on the east side.
Can you place a unit on a sloped hillside lot? Only on a level spot the service truck can reach. Send photos of the driveway and pad and we will tell you before delivery whether it works.
Do you service units at night or on weekends for industrial sites? We deliver and answer phones seven days a week.
Which nearby areas do you also cover? Norco, Eastvale, Riverside, Temescal Valley and Home Gardens. The full list is on our service areas page.
