Porta Potty Rental in Romoland, CA
Victory Portable Restrooms delivers porta potties to Romoland, at the north end of Menifee where the I-215 meets Highway 74 and Ethanac Road. This is job site country: tilt-up industrial buildings, mass grading and new-home tracts on land that has no water or sewer when work begins. Construction portable toilets start at $189 per 28 days with weekly service included, plus a delivery and pickup fee.
What is being built in Romoland?
A century ago, Romoland was sold off as four and five acre fig and grape ranches under the name Romola Farms (Wikipedia: Romoland). Today the same ground is the City of Menifee's industrial corridor. Projects reported by local news and state environmental filings:
| Project | Where | Size | Planning status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Menifee Valley Business Park | South of Highway 74, near Heritage High School | 4.6 million sq ft, five buildings, 265 acres | Approved. Ask the city for current status |
| Menifee Commerce Center | Ethanac Road and Sherman Road | More than 1 million sq ft | Approved. Ask the city for current status |
| Motte Business Center | Ethanac Road and Dawson Road | 1,138,638 sq ft on 47.1 acres | Approved, in final engineering |
| Heritage Valley Business Center | Between Trumble and Sherman roads | About 829,000 sq ft | In review |
| Menifee Valley Specific Plan | Highway 74, Briggs Road, Menifee Road | 590 acres: 1,718 homes plus 6.19 million sq ft commercial and industrial | Draft EIR circulated late 2023 |
Sources: Menifee 24/7, July 2026 and CEQAnet, Menifee Valley Specific Plan. Statuses change, so check with Menifee Community Development before you bid.
The same Menifee 24/7 report says the area west of the freeway, which the city calls the Northern Gateway, has no paved roads, sewers or storm drains yet. That matters to us for one reason: a crew on that land has nowhere to go but a portable toilet.
How many units does a large Romoland site need?
Cal/OSHA sets the floor at one toilet and one hand-wash station per 20 workers or fraction of 20 (Title 8 §1526, §1527).
| Workers on site | Toilets | Hand-wash stations |
|---|---|---|
| 1 to 4 | 1 | Washing may be inside the unit |
| 5 to 20 | 1 | 1 |
| 21 to 40 | 2 | 2 |
| 41 to 60 | 3 | 3 |
| 100 | 5 | 5 |
That is the legal minimum, not a comfortable number. A million-square-foot slab is a long walk end to end, so superintendents usually split units between the building corners, the trailer compound and the laydown yard. Tell us the peak headcount including subcontractors. The porta potty calculator and Cal/OSHA guide go further.
Where should units go on a graded pad?
- On a route the pump truck can drive weekly. Rocked or paved access is best. After rain, fresh fill can stop a loaded truck.
- Out of the wind where possible. Open pads here are exposed. Place units against a container, wall or fence line. On windy or exposed sites, ask us about staking or tying down the units.
- Away from inlets and basins. Stormwater guidance recommends about 50 feet between portable toilets and drainage where the site allows (CASQA fact sheet WM-9). Show unit locations on your SWPPP map.
- Near the work. We can move a unit when we are on site for your regular service. If you need it moved sooner and we have to make a special trip, a relocation fee applies, and the amount depends on the location.

Is my Romoland address in Menifee or the county?
Check before you apply for anything. A large part of Romoland joined the City of Menifee on October 1, 2008. The rest is still an unincorporated census area that counted 2,005 residents in 2020 (Wikipedia). A Romoland mailing address does not tell you which side you are on.
Inside Menifee:
- A unit on your own job site or lot needs no separate permit in the normal case.
- A unit in the street needs city approval. Menifee treats obstructions on public property as a nuisance without an encroachment permit (Menifee Municipal Code §11.20.020).
- Outdoor events need a Temporary Use Permit, applied for 60 days ahead (Menifee application).
See the Menifee page for the full city process.
Outside city limits: Riverside County's temporary event rules and County Transportation's encroachment permits apply. Our Homeland page walks through the county rules, and the permit guide compares both.
What is the route from the Murrieta yard?
I-15 north, I-215 north, then the Ethanac Road or Highway 74 exit. Romoland is the far end of Menifee from us, about 17 miles from 26245 Monroe Ave. It is nearly all freeway, which makes scheduled deliveries and weekly service routes predictable. Same-day and next-day delivery are offered. Phones are answered 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day, and around the clock for emergencies.
Can you supply fence and dumpsters for the same site?
Yes, in one quote. We arrange temporary fence panels through partners, and roll-off dumpsters come from our sister company, Victory Dumpsters. See job site services.
