Who rents portable toilets in Menifee?

Menifee is a construction town right now. The California Department of Finance put the city at 117,847 residents in January 2026, a gain of 2,034 in one year and the sixth-largest numeric gain among California cities under 300,000 (Department of Finance E-1 release). Most of our Menifee work follows from that.

Home builders and site contractors. New tracts are still being mapped. One example is a 27.35-acre site proposed for 192 single-family lots in an October 2025 environmental notice (CEQAnet). That project is planned, not permitted, but it shows the scale. A tract goes through grading, underground, framing and finish trades, and the toilet count changes with every phase. See porta potties for home builders and general contractors.

Remodelers in Sun City. Sun City was laid out by developer Del Webb in the early 1960s as a community for older adults, and it became part of Menifee when the city incorporated in 2008 (City of Menifee: About Menifee). Homes of that age get new kitchens, baths, roofs and plumbing. Many are single-story houses with one or two bathrooms, so a remodel can leave the owner without a working toilet for days. One unit on the driveway covers the crew and the household. See porta potties for home remodels. Sun City also has its own page: porta potty rental in Sun City.

Owners in newer neighborhoods. In Menifee Lakes, Audie Murphy Ranch and the tracts along Newport Road, the common jobs are pools, patio covers, artificial turf and ADUs. Backyard crews often have no route into the house. See pool builders, landscape contractors and ADU construction.

Event organizers. Menifee holds its Independence Day celebration, with a parade and fireworks, at Wheatfield Park (Menifee 24/7). Youth sports, school fundraisers, church festivals and neighborhood events fill the rest of the calendar. See community events and sports tournaments.

How far is Menifee from your yard?

Our trucks leave Monroe Ave, join the I-15 north and merge onto the I-215 north at the Murrieta split. The Menifee exits come in order: Scott Road, Newport Road, then McCall Boulevard for Sun City. Central Menifee at Newport Road is roughly 13 miles from the yard, and the north end near Ethanac Road and Romoland is closer to 17.

One honest note: Menifee covers about 46 square miles (Wikipedia), and the west side toward Quail Valley is reached by Newport Road or Goetz Road, not the freeway. Tell us the cross streets when you call so we quote a realistic arrival window.

We offer same-day and next-day delivery. The office answers from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week, and the same number is answered 24 hours a day for emergencies.

How much does a porta potty cost in Menifee?

A construction porta potty in Menifee starts at $189 per 28 days with weekly service included. There is a delivery and pickup fee. We do not add fuel or environmental surcharges.

What moves the price:

  • Unit type. ADA-accessible units and hand-wash stations are priced separately.
  • Length of rental. Job site rentals bill every 28 days. Event rentals start at $189 per unit.
  • Service frequency. Weekly pumping and cleaning is included. A second weekly visit can be added for large crews.
  • Number of units. Tract builders usually need several units spread across phases. Ask for a quote on the whole site.

See pricing for how a quote is put together.

How many units does a Menifee job site need?

The state sets the floor. Cal/OSHA requires one toilet and one hand-wash station for every 20 workers or fraction of 20, under Title 8 §1526 and §1527. A framing crew of 25 needs two of each.

On a tract, count the people on site on the busiest day, including subcontractors, and place units close to where the work is. Our Cal/OSHA porta potty guide covers the exceptions for small crews, and the porta potty calculator does the arithmetic.

Do I need a permit for a porta potty in Menifee?

For a unit on your own lot or driveway during a construction project or remodel, a separate permit is not normally required. Three cases need more attention.

Units in the street. Menifee's municipal code treats property or structures that obstruct or encroach on public property as a public nuisance unless a valid encroachment permit or other city approval has been issued (Menifee Municipal Code §11.20.020). Keep the unit on private property. If the street is the only place, call the city's Public Works and Engineering department before delivery.

Events on private or commercial property. Menifee uses a Temporary Use Permit for outdoor events. The application goes to the Community Development Department at least 60 days before the event. The applicant collects sign-offs from the Menifee Police Department and Riverside County Environmental Health, and the city routes the file to Building and Safety, Engineering and Fire (Menifee Temporary Outdoor Event Application).

The Menifee form does not print a required number of toilets. That leaves the count to you and the reviewers, so arrive with a number you can defend. Our calculator gives one based on attendance and hours. For public events, California's accessibility rules call for at least one accessible unit in each group of toilets.

Events in a city park. Park events are a separate process. Applications are due at least 90 days before the event, and the city's fee schedule lists Centennial, Audie Murphy and La Ladera parks (Menifee Park Event Rentals). Ask Community Services where units may be placed and when a truck can enter the park.

Many Menifee neighborhoods have an HOA. Check your CC&Rs before delivery, since some associations limit how long a unit can sit in view of the street. More detail is in our porta potty permit guide.

What can I rent?

Unit Typical Menifee use
Construction portable toilet Tracts, commercial pads, long remodels
Standard portable toilet Parties, park events, short residential jobs
ADA-accessible unit Public events, accessible job sites
Hand-wash station Any crew of five or more, and any event with food

Restroom trailers and temporary fence panels are arranged through our partners. See restroom trailer rental.

Can I get a dumpster with it?

Yes. Remodels and tract cleanups usually need a roll-off at the same address. Dumpsters come from our sister company, Victory Dumpsters, and you can ask for both in one call. See job site services.

Menifee porta potty rental FAQ

Can you move units as my tract moves from phase to phase? Yes. Tell us when a phase closes out. We can move a unit when we are on site for your regular service. If you need it moved sooner and we have to make a special trip, a relocation fee applies, and the amount depends on the location.

My Sun City driveway is short. Will a unit fit? A standard unit takes up about the footprint of a small garden shed. It needs firm, level ground and a clear path for our service hose from the street. Send a photo when you request a quote and we will confirm placement.

Do you service units on new streets that are not paved yet? We can, if the truck has a firm, graded route in and out. After rain, unpaved tract roads can stop a loaded pump truck, so place units near a paved or rocked access point where possible.

How windy is too windy? Menifee's open pads catch wind. Units on exposed sites should be placed against a wall, fence or container. On windy or exposed sites, ask us about staking or tying down the units.

How early should I book for a park event? As soon as you have a date. The city wants the park application 90 days out, and reviewers will ask who your restroom company is.

Which nearby areas do you cover? We deliver to Sun City, Quail Valley, Romoland, Winchester and Canyon Lake. See all service areas.
