Porta Potty Rental in Nuevo, CA
Victory Portable Restrooms delivers porta potties to Nuevo, the rural community east of Perris and Lake Perris. We rent standard and construction portable toilets, ADA-accessible units and hand-wash stations for farm and ranch crews, builds on acreage and gatherings on large lots. Construction units start at $189 per 28 days with weekly service included, plus a delivery and pickup fee.
What makes Nuevo a different kind of delivery?
Space and distance. Nuevo is unincorporated Riverside County. The 2020 census counted 6,733 residents on 6.8 square miles (U.S. Census Bureau). Wikipedia describes rocky hills and low valleys, with the usually dry San Jacinto River along the north side and homes and farmland sharing the lowlands (Wikipedia: Nuevo, California). One county hearing agenda for a parcel in the Lakeview/Nuevo plan area lists Residential Agricultural zoning with a half-acre minimum (Riverside County Planning). Check the zoning for your own parcel with County Planning.
In practice that means long driveways, dirt roads, and work happening far from any building. A unit can go almost anywhere, as long as our truck can drive back to it every week.
Nuevo is also the far edge of our route. From 26245 Monroe Ave in Murrieta we take the I-15 north to the I-215 north, exit at Nuevo Road in Perris and head east. That is about 22 miles. Same-day and next-day delivery are offered. Every day is different. The earlier you call, the better the chance of same-day delivery.
What are the toilet rules for farm crews?
Field work follows a different Cal/OSHA rule from construction. For hand-labor agricultural operations, Title 8 §3457 requires:
| Requirement | What the rule says |
|---|---|
| Toilets | Separate facilities for each sex for every 20 employees or fraction of 20 |
| Hand-washing | One facility per 20 employees or fraction of 20, with potable water, soap and single-use towels |
| Distance | Within a quarter-mile walk or five minutes, whichever is shorter |
| Upkeep | Clean, sanitary and working at all times |
| Records | Written service and maintenance records kept for two years |
Two practical points. First, the distance rule means units follow the crew from block to block. We can move a unit when we are on site for your regular service. If you need it moved sooner and we have to make a special trip, a relocation fee applies, and the amount depends on the location. Second, the records rule means you need dated proof of every service visit.
Our Cal/OSHA guide covers both the farm rule and the construction rule.
Can I rent a porta potty for a horse property or arena?
Yes. The usual reasons to rent:
- The arena or barn is a long walk from the house. One unit near the barn saves boarders, trainers and farriers the trip.
- Clinics, gymkhanas and roping days. Riders, families and trailers arrive for the day. Place units where trailers park, on ground that stays firm.
- Protecting a septic system. A household septic system is sized for a household and not for a crowd.
If you charge entry fees or rent the property out, the county may treat it as a commercial event. Commercial temporary events are prohibited in some zones, so call County Planning first.
Do I need a permit for an event on my Nuevo property?
Riverside County decides, under its Temporary Event rules (County Code Chapter 17.256). Larger lots get more room:
- Wedding, birthday or similar event at a home, up to 100 attendees: no permit, up to four per lot in 12 months.
- Fewer than 100 attendees on one gross acre or more: no permit.
- Fewer than 300 attendees on more than 10 gross acres: no permit.
- Anything larger: Temporary Event Permit. Apply 60 days ahead for up to 300 people a day, 90 days ahead for larger, annual or commercial events.
The county does not publish a toilet count. It requires a sewage disposal, water and food plan approved by County Environmental Health. For a count, the industry chart lists five units for 500 people over four hours with no service during the event, and 10 to 20 percent more if alcohol is served (PSAI). California also requires 5 percent of the units in each cluster at a public event, and never fewer than one, to be accessible (CBC §11B-213.2). Try the unit calculator or read the permit guide.
A unit should not sit in a county road right-of-way without an encroachment permit from County Transportation. On acreage there is no reason to use the road.
Building on acreage in Nuevo
Custom homes, manufactured-home sets, barns, shops, wells and solar arrays all start on land with no working plumbing. On a construction site the count follows crew size: one toilet and one hand-wash station per 20 workers, and a crew under five can use a single unit (Title 8 §1526, §1527).
See custom home builds, solar installers and grading and paving. Dumpsters for the same job come from our sister company, Victory Dumpsters, and we arrange temporary fence panels through partners.
