Porta Potty Rental in Woodcrest, CA
Victory Portable Restrooms delivers porta potties to Woodcrest, the semi-rural community south of Riverside along Van Buren Boulevard. We rent standard and construction portable toilets, ADA-accessible units and hand-wash stations for large-lot parties, horse properties and building projects. Construction units start at $189 per 28 days with weekly service included, plus a delivery and pickup fee.
Is Woodcrest part of the City of Riverside?
No. Woodcrest is unincorporated, so Riverside County handles permits here, not Riverside city hall. Many homes carry a Riverside mailing address, which causes confusion.
The 2020 census counted 15,378 residents and 4,767 housing units across about 11.4 square miles, and 89 percent of occupied homes were owner-occupied (U.S. Census Bureau). That works out to a lot of land per house. According to Wikipedia, the area began as dry-land grain farms, turned to citrus after a water district formed in 1955, and has since been built out with homes on large parcels. The same article describes it as an equestrian community where many residents keep ranches and horses.
What do Woodcrest properties use a portable toilet for?
Parties and family events on acreage. Graduations, quinceañeras, reunions and receptions fit comfortably on a Woodcrest lot. The bathrooms inside the house are the limit. Where a home is on a septic system, a tank sized for a household is not sized for 80 guests in one afternoon. One or two units near the gathering protect the system and keep the house closed. See private parties and weddings. For a wedding where you want flushing toilets and sinks, we arrange restroom trailers through partners.
Horse properties. Clinics, practice days and small shows put riders, trailers and spectators at the arena, usually at the far end of the lot from the house. A unit by the arena or barn saves the walk and keeps boots out of the kitchen.
Barns, shops, pools and landscape work. Outbuildings and backyard projects on a deep lot run for weeks with crews working well away from the house. See pool builders and landscape contractors.
Remodels, additions and ADUs. Large lots make room for a second unit or a major addition. See home remodels and ADU construction. On any job with employees, Cal/OSHA requires one toilet and one hand-wash station per 20 workers or fraction of 20, and one single-user unit covers a crew of fewer than five (§1526, §1527). Details are in our Cal/OSHA guide.
Does my party need a county permit?
Often not, and lot size is the reason. Riverside County's Temporary Event rules exempt several kinds of gatherings (County Code Chapter 17.256).
- A wedding, birthday or similar event at a home with up to 100 attendees, no more than four times per lot in 12 months.
- Fewer than 100 attendees on a lot of at least one gross acre.
- Fewer than 300 attendees on a lot larger than 10 gross acres.
Exempt events still have to follow other health and safety rules. Larger events need a Temporary Event Permit from County Planning, filed at least 60 days ahead for up to 300 people a day and 90 days ahead for larger, annual or commercial events. The code does not set a toilet number. It requires a sewage disposal, water and food plan approved by County Environmental Health. Commercial events are prohibited in some residential zones, so call Planning before you sell tickets or rent out your property. Our permit guide has more.

A unit on a county road shoulder needs an encroachment permit from County Transportation (Riverside County Transportation). On a Woodcrest lot there is almost always room inside the fence.
Where should the unit go on a large lot?
- Inside the gate, on firm level ground. Decomposed granite or a packed drive is ideal.
- Where the service truck can reach it every week. Check gate width, overhead branches and whether the truck can turn around. Send a photo or a map pin and we will confirm before delivery.
- Away from corrals and paddocks. Horses investigate anything new. Keep the unit outside the fence line.
- Out of drainage paths. Stormwater guidance recommends about 50 feet from drainage where the site allows (CASQA WM-9). Parts of Woodcrest sit above 2,000 feet and lots slope, so pick the flat spot, not the low one.
How do you get to Woodcrest, and how soon?
From our yard at 26245 Monroe Ave in Murrieta we take the I-215 north through Menifee and Perris, exit at Van Buren Boulevard by March Air Reserve Base, and head west into Woodcrest. That is roughly 32 to 36 miles.
Because of the distance, we do not promise same-day delivery in Woodcrest. Ask when you call and we will tell you what is possible. For a party, book a few days ahead. We deliver the day before or the morning of your event and pick up afterward or the next day, depending on the schedule. We answer 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week, and the same number is answered 24 hours a day for emergencies.
