Porta Potties for Winchester Ranches, Farms and Rural Lots
Yes, we deliver portable toilets and hand-wash stations to ranches, farms and rural lots in Winchester. Our yard is in Murrieta, about 15 to 16 miles away by Highway 79, and construction units start at $189 per 28 days with weekly service included, plus a delivery and pickup fee quoted up front for your address. Before we book a rural address, we ask about the driveway and the spot, then tell you what our truck can reach.

Do you deliver to rural properties and ranches in Winchester?
We do. Winchester is unincorporated Riverside County, much of it horse property and farm ground. We own our toilets and stations, keep them at our yard at 26245 Monroe Ave in Murrieta and service them ourselves. Same-day and next-day delivery are offered when available; the earlier you call, the better the chance. More on the area is on our Winchester porta potty rental page.
Can your truck get up my unpaved driveway?
We cannot answer that without knowing the driveway. When you book, tell us:
- How long the driveway is, and whether it is paved, gravel, decomposed granite or dirt.
- How wide it is, and the width of any gate.
- Whether it climbs, dips or crosses a wash.
- Whether there are low branches, wires or tight turns, and whether rain is likely.
A phone photo or a map pin helps most. We will tell you what our truck can reach before delivery day.
Access is not a one-time question. On a 28-day rental the service truck comes back every week. The unit needs to sit within about 30 feet of where that truck can park. Give each unit a spot about 5 feet square so the door can swing, and leave clear space overhead for the roof vent.
How many restrooms does a ranch party or wedding need?
Our porta potty calculator works from the industry planning chart, which assumes no house bathrooms are in use and no pumping during the event. Some examples:
- 80 guests, 5 hours, no alcohol: 1 unit.
- 80 guests, 5 hours, beer and wine: 2 units, after adding 20% for alcohol and rounding up.
- 150 guests, 6 hours, with a bar: 4 units at the 20% alcohol figure, or 5 if drinking is the main event and you plan at 40%.
Round up. Add a hand-wash station beside each group of toilets. Our toilets have no hand sanitizer dispensers, so the station is where guests wash.
Accessible units. California's building code calls for at least one accessible unit in each cluster at an event open to the public (CBC §11B-213.2, DSA advisory manual). A private family party is a different case, so this part is our advice, not a legal rule: if older relatives or anyone using a walker or wheelchair is coming, order one. It needs firm, level ground and a smooth path from the seating. See ADA-accessible units. They are quoted when you call.
Septic. A home septic system is sized for a household, not a crowd. Portable units take the party off it.
Permits. Riverside County's event rules are tied to lot size. Fewer than 100 attendees on a lot of at least one gross acre, or fewer than 300 on a lot over 10 gross acres, needs no temporary event permit. Weddings and birthdays at a home with up to 100 attendees are also exempt (County Code Ch. 17.256). Larger or paid events: see our permit guide.
What do agricultural crews need?
Farm hand-labor falls under California's field sanitation rule, 8 CCR §3457, not the construction rule. These are legal requirements on the employer:
- Toilets for each 20 employees or fraction of 20 (counted per sex unless the units are single-user and all-gender), and one hand-washing facility for each 20 or fraction.
- Both within a quarter-mile walk or five minutes of the crew, whichever is shorter.
- Hand-washing water, soap and single-use towels, with a sign that the water is for washing.
- A chemical toilet waste tank of at least 40 gallons and a hand-wash tank of at least 15 gallons. Our toilet tank holds 70 gallons and our station's fresh tank holds 22.
- Written service and maintenance records kept for two years.
The rule also sets standards for the toilet itself: a self-closing door lockable from inside, ventilation, screening and a minimum floor area of 8 square feet, or 10 square feet when the unit has a urinal. Read the full section and ask us for our unit's measurements so you or your safety advisor can check it against the rule. The records duty belongs to the employer, so ask us at booking what service paperwork we can give you. Our Cal/OSHA guide covers the exceptions, including short jobs where transportation can stand in for units.
A crew that moves across a big property may need its units moved. We can move a unit during regular service; a sooner move is a special trip with a relocation fee.
For harvest or a season of work, job site rentals bill every 28 days and renew until cancelled, with 28 days' notice to cancel.
