What does the $189 cover?
On a job site, $189 buys 28 days with the unit and four service visits, one a week. On each visit the driver pumps the tank, cleans and sanitizes the inside, puts fresh water and deodorizer in the tank, and restocks toilet paper. Our toilets have no hand sanitizer dispensers, so add a hand-wash station if you want people washing up. Stations are quoted when you call.
For an event, $189 is the starting price per unit. The unit shows up clean and stocked. If your event runs more than one day, it needs service between days, and those visits go on the quote.
Are delivery and pickup included?
Not in the $189. There is a delivery and pickup fee quoted up front for your address. That one fee covers both trips, so there is no separate pickup charge.
Which extra fees should I expect, and which ones don't we charge?
What can add to the bill:
- Extra service visits, if you want the unit pumped more than once a week. Quoted when you call.
- A relocation fee, only if you need a unit moved on a day we are not already on site. If it can wait for your regular service day, we move it then.
- Damage beyond normal wear. If a unit gets tipped or damaged, we reset, clean or replace it. The renter is responsible for damage beyond normal wear, and a service fee may apply.
- Emergency or after-hours delivery. A same-day order at 1 p.m. costs far less than a call at 1 a.m. that needs a driver brought in. If one of our trucks is already in your part of town, there is no rush fee.
What we do not charge: fuel surcharges, environmental surcharges, a separate pickup charge, or a damage waiver. We do not sell one.
Is there a minimum rental period?
Job site rentals bill in 28-day periods, so the shortest job site rental is one period. Shorter rentals are available for special events. A job site rental keeps renewing every 28 days until you cancel, and we need 28 days' notice to stop it.
Why do rentals bill every 28 days instead of monthly?
Because service is weekly. Twenty-eight days is exactly four weeks, so every bill covers the same four visits.
The catch is that a year holds 13 billing periods, not 12. If you are comparing our price with a monthly rate, $189 per 28 days works out to about $205 per average calendar month.
Job site rentals take no deposit. The first 28 days are paid seven days before delivery, or at booking if delivery is sooner, and the card on file is charged every 28 days after that.
What does a one-day or weekend rental cost?
Event rentals start at $189 per unit. We deliver the day before or the morning of your event and pick up afterward or the next day, depending on the schedule. Add the delivery and pickup fee for your address. Events take a 50% deposit when you book, and the balance is due seven days before the event. The deposit is not refundable, because we hold those units for your date.
What does a contractor pay over a year?
Say a contractor has a crew of 12 on a Temecula custom home for a full year. Cal/OSHA's count for 12 workers is one toilet and one hand-wash station outside it, as the how many porta potties guide shows.
The toilet alone is 13 periods at $189, or $2,457 for the year. The total quote looks like this:
| Line on the quote | How it is priced |
|---|---|
| Portable toilet, weekly service included | $189 per 28 days, so $2,457 for 13 periods |
| Hand-wash station, refilled each service | Quoted when you call |
| Delivery and pickup | One fee quoted up front for the address |
| Extra service visits, if the crew grows or summer gets hot | Quoted when you call |
| Fuel or environmental surcharge | $0 |
Before you book, we give you one total covering rental, service, delivery and pickup.
How do I get a firm price for my address?
Send the quote form with the address, dates and crew size or guest count, and mention any gates or long driveway. The pricing page has the full fee breakdown, and our Temecula page covers delivery distances and event permits in the city.
